Submission takes just a few minutes - and once accepted, you, your family and friends - in fact anyone on the planet who happens to have an Internet connection - can see your achievement and rub their eyes in disbelief!
No matter how unusual - no matter how unbelievable - no matter how ridiculous or physically impossible it may seem to 'scientists', there's a place for your WOW here.
The Submission Process
Interested in what happens after you've submitted in your WOW?
It's no mean feat, let me tell you.
- Once validated, a record is added to the queue, visible on the right hand side of this page.
- An operator must then sift through every submission, checking the archives for possible duplicates, verifying facts and figures, before either giving it the 'thumbs up', or rejecting it. The record is then passed onto our team of media editors.
- The editors check spelling, punctuation, as well as any included images, watermarking and formatting where appropriate. The record is then prepended with the all-important introduction, transforming it into a WOW!
- Finally, the WOW is transferred to the main WOW server, where it becomes available for all the world to see on the flagship World of WOWs website. A personalised certificate is then automatically generated, perfect for printing out and hanging somewhere. Possibly a wall.
And that's the magic of WOWs!
